Vulva Casting
In 2020, with my partner's help, I cast my own vulva on our back porch. This initial experience was inspired by the idea of transforming live casts into pottery, eventually culminating in an installation at the Harry Wood Gallery titled Vulva Kitchen. Since then, I have delved deeper into ways to honor others' relationships with their bodies through art. The following gallery showcases my vulva sculpture work, created using alginate to capture this intimate part of the human form and cast in plaster, resulting in deeply personal art that reflects our collective experiences.
